coloring and proven sire.
- 1 Black 75% proven sire. 2 white 75%
twins both proven sires (one was Supreme Champion White Ram at the 2004
Rhinebeck Show) excellent blue coloring.
- 2 white and 1 colored
75% yearlings.
- White and colored 75% to 87% ram lambs.
The 75% Wensleydale rams as well as 75% & 87%
ram lambs are eligible to be used in the Upgrade
Program. Some
of these ewes and rams are from natural conceptions and
will not require the buyer to be enrolled in the Voluntary Scrapie Certification
Program. These rams are ready to work.
1/2 Wensleydale ram lamb
Colorful ROMELDALE/CVM yearling ewes and rams, as well as lambs.
Karakul ewe and ram lambs - black, brown, red and variegated.
Ask about the current availability of percentage Teeswater ewes, rams
and lambs.
If you call early enough, there are Wensleydale, Teeswater and Romeldale/CVM handspinning
wethers available. The Wensleydale and Teeswater lambs are mostly
white with colored genetics, but there are a few variegated grey and black
lambs
and all have silky longwool type fleeces. The lambs have had all of their
shots and
will be ready to travel by May.
Delivery can be made to the Maryland
Sheep & Wool Festival in
May, Estes
Park Wool Market in June,
the Black
Sheep Gathering in June, The
Wool Festival at Taos in October and the Dutchess
County Sheep and Wool Growers Association at
Rhinebeck, NY in October or they may be picked up at the farm. We will
